WOW! I'm stunned for at least 1d3 rounds...
Yesterday saw a 20%+ boost in pledges!
Many thanks to both backers new and old!
Now with a little under 48 hours left we only need roughly $200 to defeat the funding goal and cleanse the forest of the chaos infused blights forever (or at least manufacture these awesome cassettes)!
So blow those bugles for aid and let us make stand against this beast of a funding goal worthy of song!

5 Days to Go!

Hello everyone and a special welcome to our new sword brethren that have recently pledged!
There's only 5 days left and while I'm hopeful we'll reach our funding goal in time it will take a BIG PUSH from all of us to gather more warriors to defeat the scourge souring this great Eastern Forest!
Composing the Soundtrack
I recently asked HDK & DUNJON MAGIK what instruments they used to compose this adventure album, "perhaps a NORD," I suggested? While they can't very well relinquish all their esoteric secrets this is what I found out:
"We have our "industrial secrets"... a NORD is right, great intuition mate! We only used an old Clavia synth-rack from the 90s in a couple of tracks. I'll mention a few, just to whet your treasure-hunting spirit, but I can't give you a detailed list, otherwise your quest would be too easy and then those chaotic humanoid gangs out there WILL COPY ALL OUR SECRETS!!!
While wandering around the Eastern Forest you can hear the singing of a Crumar Performer (old string-synth from 1979), the magic of a Roland Juno 6 (the very famous KING synth of the 80s), a pinch of epic Korg M1 (big keyboard of great commercial success from 1989), Korg Mini-pop drum machines and lots of other stuff ... even super-cheap VST! (maybe it is better nobody know EVER haha!)
Oh, and one last thing: both in "Sky ov the Crimson Flame" and in "Blight ov the Eastern Forest" we used samples - heavily manipulated but still recognizable - of the sound effects of the historic Commodore Amiga videogame "Dungeon Master", of which we are still devoted fans."

Well met adventurers and thank you again for supporting this project!
We are less than $1000 away from the funding goal with 10 days to spare and I think we can succeed if we put our swords together, spread the good word, and pray to the dark gods of the forest!
Speaking of forests, it has come to my realization that some of you here may not be privy to the previous adventures Sky ov Crimson Flame &Blights ov the Eastern Forest. (Something, no doubt, I shall add to the main page!) You can gather a bit of the story from this older Zine Quest video below!
Sky ov Crimson Flame is a 0-level adventure that unfolds with the sudden disappearance of the raven-haired beauty Belesa and soon turns to hysteria as others vanish from the small farming village of Reed. One by one, friends, loved ones and finally the children scream out in the dark of the night and are lost…
Now, as the Horned Moon rises, a thunderous sound ripples across the night sky and in its wake a falling Crimson Star ignites in the East! The village elders suspect the kidnapped have been taken to an ancient and vile keep that lies hidden within the dreaded Eastern Forest, for they alone remember the old tales of screaming witch-lights that blazed and danced across the sky in times of yore!
Even now strange ululations cry out as fleeting shadows ride the wind. Who among you will brave the bowels of that foul Keep, where unspeakable horrors must surely await, in an attempt to save those that have been taken?
If you survive, then it may well be time to turn your eyes to the dark boughs of the forest itself! What is it that turns a land sour? What evil breeds and lurks under the eves of the Eastern Forest, that has for generations cast a shadow of dread over the village of Reed? Is it possible a band of foolhardy adventurers (however stout of heart they may well be!) can put an end once and for all to the corruption that dwells there?
Blights ov the Eastern Forest sends your 1st level adventurers on a dangerous mission to cleanse the evil that spawns from the very roots of the woods and weaves a rich history that ties in the previous adventure with a map featuring 11 adventure locations to explore as well as a bestiary of horrors to encounter! Walking into the forest is easy… It’s getting out alive that’s hard!

We've gotten a pretty good head start and are 1/4 of the way to the funding goal, woohoo!
I've gotten a few requests to add the digital download of the Sky ov Crimson Flame dungeon synth album to the ADD ONs section and so it has be done!
